65,000 STUDENTS HAVE BENEFITED FROM FREE TVET – DR. BAWUMIA

 

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that no government since independence has invested in Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) more than President Akufo-Addo.
According to him, over 65,000 students have benefitted from Technical Education under this government.

He further touched on other ultramodern TVET institutions that the government is putting up across the 16 regions in the country.

Dr Bawumia made this known during the Opening Ceremony of the World Skills Ghana National Skills Competition and TVET Expo 2021.

 

The Director-General of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) Dr Fred  Kyei Asamoah also said during the program their commitment to ensuring that Technical education is highly developed in the country.
