Aggrieved Farmers of Bibiani Hwenanpori in the Bibiani municipal of western North Region have complained bitterly about how the National House of Chiefs president, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi has authorized unknown Hwenapori Chief, Oteng Krah to destroy their farmland and other properties by an excavator.

According to the leader of the group, Obaapanin Yaa Oforiwaa, they do not know the reason why their farmland like Cocoa, Oil Palm, Cassava, Plantain, Cocoyam and other properties are being destroyed.

Speaking with the press, she said more than 500 people properties have been destroyed without any notice.

She is therefore appealing to the government, IGP and other authorities to step into the matter.

Some aggrieved farmers also shared their displeasure about the situation with the press.

The committee chairman for Bibiani Hwenampori electoral areas Mr Stephen Mensah, national house of chiefs president Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II knows what is going on in their community because the unknown chief, Oteng Krah revealed to the entire municipality.

They are challenging Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II to come out and say something if it is true that, he gave that authority to Oteng Krah to destroy their properties and if he responds yes, then they will also be prepared seriously to face them boot for boot.
