Mask On Concert: Mammoth Crowd Welcomes Medikal At Asankrangwa Melody Hotel [ [Video]

Samuel Adu Frimpong (born 4 April 1993), popularly known as Medikal, is a Ghanaian hip hop and afrobeat musician born to Portia Lamptey and James Frimpong in Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra.

Recently, Medikal was remanded by a Circuit Court judge in Accra on October 22, 2021, for brandishing a weapon in a video found on social media.

Medikal was granted bail after five days on remand.

He was granted bail to the tune of GH¢100,000 with one surety.

After his bail, the Omo ada hitmaker has shown that the little challenges that come our way are not meant to cripple us down as he is living his normal life as if nothing happened. In an interview with MC Bobby Zaro on Ahobraseye FM at Asankrangwa, Medikal shared his encounter with the police and advised the youth to be cautious of how they live. He further stated that sometimes we are ensnared when we least expect.



After performing at Suaman Dadieso on 30th October 2021, Medikal was in Asankrangwa on 31st October 2021 to continue with the “Mask on concert”.

He was first welcomed at Ahobraseye FM where a large number of people converged at the forecourt of the FM station to catch a glimpse of MDK.

Medikal was welcomed in grand style as a large number of people in Asankrangwa and its environs were at Melody Hotel to watch the omo ada hitmaker.

It was all joy as fans keep singing and dancing to MDK songs at the hotel.
