NANA B CUTS SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CHILDREN’S WARDS AT TAFO HOSPITAL

 

The New Patriotic Party National Youth Organizer, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye has cut sod for the construction of the proposed 29-bed children’s Ward and O.P.D clinic to enhance quality healthcare delivery at Tafo government Hospital in Kumasi.

He did that as part of The celebration of his 40th Birthday celebration of the goodness of God.

Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye said the facility will help to ease the congestion at the Tafo Government Hospital, especially the children’s ward.

Speaking to the media in an interview, he said he is expecting the project to be completed within 6months.

On his part the medical superintendent of Tafo Government Hospital, Dr Kwame Agyemang said the spacious capacity at the Hospital is one of their major challenges Hospital.

The population of patients attending the facility is increasing every day but the lack of space to admits patients at the hospital is inadequate which has lead to congestion at the hospital.

He seized the opportunity to appeal to the government to come to their aid to complete the abandoned maternity ward projects started by president Kuffour’s regime.

He thanked Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye for his kind gesture.
