PICTURES: WASSA AMENFI WEST GOES GREEN. 9,100 TREES PLANTED


As part of activities to commemorate the GREEN GHANA PROJECT, the Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi West, Hon. George Agyiri, today, 11th June 2021, supervised and inspected the planting of 9,100 trees within the municipality. Additionally, he planted a commemorative tree at the forecourt of the Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly Building.

The inspection of the tree planting took the MCE and his entourage to Uptown Hotel Community, Asankrangwa Senior High School, Asankrangwa Model Basic School, All Saints Academy Preparatory School and Methodist Basic School.

Hon. George Agyiri said that he was committed and dedicated to the successful planting of trees in the municipality to restore the depleted forest cover ravaged by human activities.
