UMARU SANDA CHANGES  THE STORY OF A HERDSMAN, GRADUATES WITH FIRST CLASS AND DELIVERS A SPEECH AS THE VALEDICTORIAN OF THE GRADUATING CLASS [PHOTOS]

Broadcast Journalist, Umaru Sanda Amadu has won the hearts of many because of his humanitarian services. And today, 14th October 2021 has become one of the proudest days in his life. According to him, 4 years ago, he was driving his father to visit his brother at Katamansu near Ashaiman when a gentleman emerged from the bushes brandishing the WASSCE results of his junior brother. He screamed in excitement when he saw the “As” on the paper. His brother asked that he help. The guy told Umaru If he does not help, his little brother would remain a herdsman slaving in the bushes for next to nothing. Umaru discussed the boy with his bosses at Citi FM, Sammens and Bernard Avle. They were wowed and decided this boy must not be left to “rot” in the bush.

Ali Inusah and Umaru Sanda

Citi FM and UPSA offered him a joint scholarship to study Accounting. Today, Ali Inusah did not only graduate with FirstClass but also delivered a speech as the Valedictorian of the graduating class. His speech made Umaru tear up. Umaru is very happy and thankful to God, that one other under-privileged person has been given a leveller.

Ghanaians are happy for the boy for his hard work and also Umaru for being a game-changer in the boy’s life.
