President Akufo-Addo has said, his government want to do another programme as soon as beneficiaries of Nation Builder Corps (NABCO) are made permanent by the end of October 2021.
He said, initially the focus of the program was for trainees to get individual skills for entrepreneurship and self-employment. But the questionnaires responded by Trainees show that many trainees want to be employed permanently in the public sector, with a few wanting to be self-employed.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made the revelation during an interview with Anthony Good Junior of Radio Bar, in Sunyani during his working visit to the Bono Region.
According to the President, 72,000 out of over 92, 000 applicants have responded so far and these cut across all the various modules.
The president disclosed on the radio interview that 25,000 NABCO beneficiaries will be maintained in Education Service, 16,000 beneficiaries will be maintained in Revenue Ghana, 13,000 beneficiaries will be maintained in Civil Ghana, 7,000 beneficiaries will be maintained in Digital Ghana, 5, 000 will be maintained Enterprise Ghana, 3,500 will be maintained in Feed Ghana and 2, 900 will be maintained in Heal Ghana by the end of October. President assured.
However, not everyone will get the opportunity because some have not responded to the questionnaire presented to them.
NABCO 3-year duration will be ending in October 2021 and this interview with the president will instil hope and confidence in Nabco trainees.
