Mama Esther is an inspiring and God-fearing woman who spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ mainly through his songs.

Born Esther Boakye in real life but widely known in the gospel song ministration as Mama Esther is noted for an inspirational and motivational tune. She is a native of Ankase, a suburb of Mampong in the Ashanti region.

Mama Esther’s song has brought a lot of relief to the broken hearts, helpless, overburdened and people who are facing the intricacies of life. Some of her notable songs are onyame aye bi, kasempa, Goliath bɛkɔ, etc.

Speaking to Peter Tabiri, Pentecost TV representative at Wassa Amenfi West, in an interview at Wassa Dunkwa, she said many people know that she is into gospel music, but aside from her music career, she is also into fashion designing, wedding and funeral decorations, live band performances, etc.

She was at Wassa Dunkwa to decorate and perform at the funeral rites of Ama Adoma. She performed on Saturday, 17 July 2021 and Sunday, 18 July 2021 at Wassa Dunkwa Lorry Station.

Mama Esther revealed that she has not stopped music as some people have come to believe now.

“I don’t release songs every year as some people do. Everyone has a different way of doing their things. I take my time to package my song. I usually have many songs on my album and it takes me 4 years. It’s 6 years now; my cherished listeners should expect a new album any moment from now”, she added.
