The people of Kenten Magazine, a sub-community in the Techiman south of the Bono East region has called unto the government of Ghana to come to their aid.
According to them, there is a refuse dump at Kenten magazine which has led to the spread of diseases in their community, especially among children.
The refuse dump has been surrounded by houses including places where day-to-day activities of most people are done and if care is not taken can cause a lot of harm to the community.
They went further to urge the president of Ghana through their member of parliament and Municipal Chief Executive to come into their aid and assist them because they form part of Ghanaians.
Moreover the assembly member for Kenten electoral area Hon. Issa Adams also urged the Techiman Municipal assembly to come into their assistance because he has made every effort as an assembly member.
Finally Hon. Issah also said among their problems is the construction of roads in the community since people are encroaching the lands for roads and also the expansion of electricity most especially street bulbs are needed in the community.
All these were made known to Osomafo Kwame Owusu last Tuesday at Kenten.
